New for 2005, this robotic mowing system comes complete with all the features of the new RL850 and also includes a docking/recharging station. The Docking Station allows the RL1000 to fully and autonomously operate on your lawn. No need to drive it out to your lawn and start it. There is no need to drive it back to the garage and recharge it. With a Docking Station IT’S ALL-AUTOMATIC!

The RL1000 is scheduled to depart on specific days and times of the week! Program it once for the entire season and it will automatically depart on the pre-selected day and time. When its done mowing it will then return to the docking station. While in the docking station, the power pack is recharged, as it awaits its next scheduled mow.

Enjoying the yard? Kids playing? Bad weather? Want to skip a single mow? Press one button and the RL1000 skips the next programmed session, no need to reprogram.

The RL1000 is so quiet that we recommend that you set it to mow at night. It's similar in sound and volume as an outside air conditioning unit. Mow at night with the fully automatic and amazing RL1000, and you'll never see the yard being mowed, you'll just come home every day to a beautifully cut yard.

The RL1000 is specifically designed to remain outdoors during the mowing season. It is completely water proof, rain and other summer weather (heat, humidity) will not damage any part of the RL1000.
